Pro-Pilot Flightbook

Previously the FlightBook was designed for simulation pilots and enthusiasts as there was no need for professional pilots to have a separate book for notes and data as their computer flight planning printed sheets allowed for pen and ink annotation of their data and as a scratchpad for briefing notes and reminders

The FlightBook has been upgraded for use by professional pilots working in a paperless flight deck environment. Modern flightlog and EFB software carried on ipads does not allow for the taking of notes or quick reference to already copied data. A true case of the technology hindering the operation rather than helping.

Quick and ready to hand data can be transcribed from the book into EFB or Ipad flight logging app whilst the pilot can keep his sector notes in an easy to find format for future reference.

The book contains a format for recording standard computer flight plan data with space for notes/diagrams/jottings that an ipad interface will not allow to be done quickly.

Temporary logbook pages are attached in case the pilot needs to record timings for later transfer to their paper or electronic logbook

Grid notepaper pages have been added to allow for personal notes or inserts

  • Total of 164 pages (140 pages for flight use) gives 70 sectors
  • A5 Spiral Bound for easy foldover whilst in use (148 x 210 mm)

The flightBook remains suitable for sim pilots but may contain more information than needed in the simulated airline environment.
